Meet Liam

Liam Mooney

Liam joined in 2021 as part of endjin's Software Engineering Apprenticeship programme, and graduated in 2024 to become a Software Engineer I.

He studied an MSci in Physics at University College London, where his master's project focused on applying machine learning techniques in particle physics. This sparked an interest in data science and engineering. However, after joining endjin, he developed a much broader interest in software engineering as a whole — including DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and building modern web applications.

During his time at endjin, Liam worked on a range of client projects, including building data platforms primarily using Python and Spark, as well as developing web applications end-to-end using TypeScript/React and C#/ASP.NET. He enjoys digging into complex problems, learning how systems fit together, and building well-structured, maintainable solutions.

Liam worked at endjin between 2021-2025.
