Guest Blog Post: Week Two – Day Four of Work Experience 2014

On day 8 of his work experience at endjin, Jack learns about client side programming and helps fix a request from a client.

—————

Today and yesterday I did a lot of research on C# programming, html and Javascript, and watched some Pluralsight videos. After doing this for a while I was able to understand more about the programming that we did with the BusyLight.

The best hour you can spend to refine your own data strategy and leverage the latest capabilities on Azure to accelerate your road map.

In the afternoon I joined Alice and we solved one of the requirements that a client had where he wanted a list on his website to filter for a certain category by default. We checked all the html files and JavaScript files involved, which were Angular JavaScript files. When we had found the relevant area in the Angular file, changed the code that set the default category.

This was good because we were able to sort the request out pretty quickly.
