Guest Blog Post: Start of Week Two Work Experience (2014)

A guest post by Jack, 15, as he starts his second week of work experience at endjin.

—————

After feeling refreshed from my weekend break I arrived at 8:45 eagerly anticipating what I'd be doing today.

Power BI Weekly is a collation of the week's top news and articles from the Power BI ecosystem, all presented to you in one, handy newsletter!

I sat down and went onto Pluralsight to further my knowledge about C#. I then decided to go through all the monthly research round up posts and read the ones that grabbed my attention. Some of the projects really were inspiring in how people are trying to better the world to help everyone out. My favourite was about the Bionic furniture which would help people who are less mobile.

After lunch we had a group discussion and starting planning for a new project, preparing for the first public release of the endjin content management system. This entailed writing out each aspect of the project that needed to be completed on a card, and arranging the cards on a board so we could plan what order to do them in.

Richard then explained that tomorrow we would be programming the BusyLight to turn a different colour if a build failed in TeamCity.

The Introduction to Rx.NET 2nd Edition (2024) Book, by Ian Griffiths & Lee Campbell, is now available to download for FREE.

I am really excited to see if it will work!!
